Reduce the storage requirements of your raster data by using compression. Raster file formats with compression include: JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GeoTIFF, GeoJP2, MrSID, and of course the MicroImages' RVC file. Various types of internal compression are available for raster objects in an RVC project file: JPEG2000 (lossless and lossy), Run Length Encoded, Standard Lossless, Huffman (lossless), JPEG (lossless and lossy). Use the Raster Extract process in TNTmips to compress your raster objects.
