MicroImages has carefully designed the TNTgis software to be used in the language and script of any locale in the world.

Creating data, maps, and other products in your language

Your clients and end-users of your geospatial products (i.e. maps, atlases, web sites, etc.) must be served in their own language. All of the TNTgis software can use any TrueType font on your system for map annotations, legends, labels, and more. You can create map and display products that have any combination of international fonts and languages.

Even without setting up the software user interface for your language, it can accommodate any font and language in:

• Databases: use string/text fields in your attribute/database tables, ...
• Text Editing: supports mixed languages in a single line, right-to-left entry, conjunctive and cursive language forms, multilevel diacritical marks above/below characters, ...
• Map Products: publish printed or electronic maps with captions, legends, annotations, labels, ...
• Keyboard Entry: uses standard Windows and Mac entry forms and keyboard layouts

Using TNTmips in your language - Language Interface Kits

MicroImages has worked for many years to adapt the TNTgis software products to operate just as though they were originally created in your language. It is our belief that full native language operation is both technically and psychologically important. A language interface kit displays the software interface (all windows, dialog boxes, advisories, messages, etc) in your language.

The following language interface kits are currently included with your download of TNTmips (including TNTmips Free and TNTmips Basic). See the Use TNTgis Software in Your Language technical guide for information on how to set up the TNTmips interface to any of these languages.
