serpentine order: �A grid cell numbering scheme found in the Polygon Grid analysis process.� When a user selects the Serpentine Order scheme, the sequential numbering proceeds from the lower left cell upward to the top of the first column; numbering then proceeds downward through the second column, and so forth.
