radar image:� An image composed of many pixels, each of which represents the radar back scatter for that area on the ground.� Darker areas have less back scatter than brighter areas.� Bright features in an image are those that return a large fraction of the radar energy to the sensor, while dark features reflect little or no energy to the sensor.
