pseudo-color image:� A color image that does not directly render the colors of the original image from individual red, green, and blue color values.� A pseudo-color image could result from such processes as assigning colors to the gray levels in a grayscale image or assigning colors to a cluster map.� A color map pairs a display color with each possible cell value in a pseudo-color image.� (See also: composite color raster object.)
